Mark is passionate about numerous environmental issues and keen to help organizations and companies that work in this area. Mark has the ability to understand scientific concepts, synthesize information, ask good questions, and produce compelling prose. Particular interests include: behavior change, biodiversity, climate change, land use, environmental education, and issues that present communication challenges.
Mark has written press releases, blog, and newsletter articles; edited and produced fundraising materials; and worked with WordPress and Facebook while carrying out projects for: United States Geological Survey, Save the Bay, Sustainable Conservation, Oregon Environment Council, and SUSSing Sustainability@Stanford.
Mark has also published articles on environmental photography, urban environmentalism, and vertical farming.
